Need help

Ok this is the start of a long journey, and I'm not sure if it will end the way I want it to. So about 9 years ago I'm leaving for the army and my dad is moving to Oregon for a new job. He ends up selling his mule deer mount. I have ways told my dad he should have sold it to me but never thought to ask who he sold it to. So the other day I was thinking I would like to try and find his old mount and buy it back. So now I'm on a mission, but don't know where to start. I asked him and my step mom and nothing, no names and no leads. So I thought I would ask the GS.

Anyone got any ideas on were I should start this search?
Here is a pic of the deer/mount I'm looking for....just in case one of you have it! Don't think so though.

Where was he living when he sold it? Might try putting an ad in the paper, sales paper or craigslist asking if anyone has any information on it... giving them the closest dates y'all remember it was sold.

Shot and sold in Cody Wyoming a very long time ago. Like 93. He didn't sell it till 2004. I will be posting in the Wyoming craigslist here shortly.

other than craigslist you could try the Facebook groups. We have some in our area for items for sale. Call area businesses like the coffee shop or Taxidermist to see of they will post a flyer you can email or fax to them. Good Luck!
