My Hunting area with pictures of the tent on the platform.

This is one of two feed pens. Notice the hay feeder on the left and the tri-pod in the back oak tree. It's hard to see but it's there.

how does the sun treat the material? Has it faded it out or degraded it in any way yet?

Not yet. It was out for 4 months last year and 1 month this year. The material and tent has held up for those 5 months total just fine.

Nice-the deer will get more used to it if it is out there all the time. I questioned the material degrading as well, but seems like you are not having that problem.

I will keep it up through the summer. If the material seems week or rotten by season I will replace it with a new one. and use the rods and cams for replacement parts if needed. I know the Ameristeps used cast aluminum on their cams and the broke on us.

It has however been just fine for me so far.

Nice set up you got there going on!
I had read your other post about stuff getting stolen on the lease. Is this the same lease?
                  You have a pm!

No, this lease is in Junction, TX

The one getting stuff stollen is in Grimes Country near CR 302 by the renaisance festival.

                          Bobo,

I figured that was in the Junction area. I love that area. If it is an ameristep... it will fade. Mine did and I sent pictures to the company and they sent me a replacement for 20.00

If you can cover the top with something, it will help alot.

                          good luck out there.
