Need electricians help, how to use volt meter

not saying your wrong,but I think you need rubber gloves. you can wear the leather gloves over the rubber to protect them from getting torn

Negative, regular leather gloves will protect you from 120v, 240 and up you will need the rubbers. I've been an electrician over 25 year's. They wont protect you from the heat of a flash but you wont get shocked.

I just repaired the same problem where the electrician used the push in option on the back instead of the side screws. No bueno... I had him do it the old fashion way and use the screw...
