    Disk cooker burner stand questions

    May be a stupid question
But what kind of burner do I have to have for cookin? Got a disk cooker comin in tomorrow, and was wondering what kind if Burner stand I have to have.

Will a fishfryer burner stand work?

Very new to this whole disk cookin thing just tryin to figure it all out.

I have one of the cheap burners from academy that I use and it works good for me. There are some burners made specifically for the disc cookers where you can adjust the height. To me they are made more for convieience than a must have.

I won one at a contest and it is one of the really wide burners to put more heat in a bigger area of the disc

you can learn a lot on the home brew forums

Get a banjo burner... wider heat area makes a huge difference...

If you get a jet burner you will most likely end up upgrading at a later time...

You can fab one up (if you are handy) or buy them ready to go.
