    Question for Primos 35 owners

I have had a Primos 35 cam now for about a year and it is just not getting pictures. Same spot as I had a Moultrie I 40 that was taking 1500 + pics per period and its still doing that at its new location. My Primos might get a few hundred pics at most. Night time pics also are pretty poor. Not getting any black pics or mis fires or anything like that just low pic count. At a feeder that usually gets 1000's of pics and has for years.

Also no battery or sd card issues what so ever.

What settings are you getting good results with on the Primos 35 ?

i set mine to one minute intervals with the low sensitivity setting. If i set it otherwise i get a lot of ghost pictures.

I had issues last summer. Those cameras do no like direct sunlight in the hot months. I cut out a piece of tin to make a roof for the cameras and problem was solved.

Will be trying this, I did do a solar panel set up seen in the DIY and moved the camera location to the opposite side of the feeder location to get more sun.

Roof being installed this weekend. Thanks

We have just not had good luck on our lease with the Primos cameras.

Wont trigger at all or when it does, they take 100s of photos of absolutely nothing. Speck of dust must be setting them off. We had one at a feeder that the corn would disappear after every feeding, but camera would not take a single photo. Deer ghosts must have been eating the corn.

Same thing happened to me...cam started missing shots during the "transition" period from night to morning. Seemed like it was confused and maybe going to sleep? Started taking less pics during that morning timeframe and the pics it did take were way over-exposed. I think I had it facing too much into the east sun...repositioned it and apparently it fixed itself.
I use the lowest sensitivity level and one minute interval. I have 2 of the Truth Cam 35s and one Blackout and have been very pleased with the quality of pics and the battery life of all.

Can't think of any issues I've had with mine.

Is it the 35 or 35 Ultra?

I can't get mine to ever save the date and time when I put it out. It takes good pics but every pic is dated 1-01-2008 1200 hours

I just put one out this weekend. We shall see how it does for me. I have it on low sensitivity and 1 minute. I like to set for 5 minutes but only had 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 30 minutes. Oh well.

I had to put my 46 and 35 in a home made box to, they didn't like the heat either

My 46 Ultra made it about 2 weeks before it cooked. No more Ultras for me.

I have 3 different 35's that ive never had a single issue with. Recently purchased a new 35 ultra that took nothing but empty untriggered photos. No more ultras for me...
