I have a really stupid question, how do you guys load your bike into your trucks? I don't have help to push it up a ramp. I have a really wide ramp that I used for my 4 wheeler but it has runners l along it. not real conducive for footing required for loading or unloading a bike. obviously it all depends on the went to the ramp but do any of y'all drive your bike into the back your truck on a ramp? unfortunately I don't have any hills or elevated surfaces to be able to back my tailgate up against it and drive directly on. any suggestions?

This works.
If its a heavy bike keep it running and feather the clutch and let the bike do all the work.
You will want a good alum ramp too. Go cheap and build one with a 2X8 and the $15 dollar tailgate attachment to one end gets really hairy when its wet outside.
Another thing. You really don't need that big of a hill to decrease the angle of the ramp entering the bed of your truck. Look around someplace near you can back your truck down into something. A small ditch or an elevated front will almost level out the angle of the ramp to your bed and you will feel comfortable just riding it in.
Just be sure where you plan on unloading it there is something similar.
