I just watched the neighbors 18 year old kid mow the entire front yard without ever engaging the blade. When he realized the mower wasn't cutting very well he sped up. This is only the third time I have ever seen him on a mower. I think what got me the most was when he would go over a high patch of grass he would stop turn around and see tall grass then back up and go over it again.
