Well when I first got my pup I noticed her gums were a little pale but everyone in my family said it was fine. Here we are today, she's severely anemic and getting a blood transfusion! Poor pup!

My lab was anemic as a pup. She is just fine now, you'd never know she had any problems.

Just got word they are gonna keep her over night now, they have her one transfusion and she didn't respond to it a whole lot so they will give her another one tonight.

Some kind of parasite that they can pick up anywhere. I will find out the name of it tomorrow when I pick her up.

She will be fine in a couple days. The doc will get rid of the parasite and she will bounce right back!
