To anyone who posted fishing help, tricks tactics or whatever. Thanks to y'all I caught my first shark yesterday. He ain't big but he is my fist one and I'm dang happy about it. My BIL also caught one, his first as well. Ended up with two little black tips and two sail cats in the surf yesterday.

Looks like a fun trip! Beware shark fishing is addicting lol. Next thing you know your gonna be building a tower for the bed of your truck and chasing 10'+ tigers.

Hey thanks for the idea! Lol. It is definitely addicting. I'm trying to get it to where my brother and I make an annual trip to fish just for sharks and big fish. Gonna invest in a good kayak and a bigger pole and reel for our trip to Florida around Christmas time.
