    Depends on what grade it is. Unless you know your wood. I would not be trying to turn it for a profit.

    Not saying the people who are selling it is being dishonest but I have seen many times where someone is trying to sell Grade A at a discounted price and its actually grade c and would cost you less to go buy grade c at the lumber yard direct.

    With Mahogany cost will also determine on what species it is. * I E where it was grown*

    Also even at a discounted price if it is what the are claiming it to be and you dont have a use for it right away. Unless you plan on storing it in the living room in the AC or using it right away for a project. This Texas Heat will warp the crap out of it sitting in the garage or storage.


    Just FYI. I cant tell you how many times during summer I have to pull sheets off my stack and make them get me different ones at the lumber yard because they are already bowing up from the heat.
