    New conclusive evidence they exist!!!

I was watering the garden this afternoon having an cool beverage when outta no where this beast burst out, after my kids chickens. I always had my doubts, but now I'm a believer. Of coarse I didn't have a gun on me and it got away before I could run in the house and get something to take it out with. Luckily I was quick enough on my feet to snap a shot on the phone. I don't know if it's the same animal I grew up hearing about in ETX, the "Texas Black Panther". This one showing up in NM might suggest it's range has expanded further west. Hopefully it'll mess up and come back while I got some heat on my side. Maybe we'll have some LDP's to come soon.

Look at how their hunting ability has gotten them so close to their prey ! I thought them black panthers were sneaky critters !

With the 3yr drought we're in it must be harder for them as well. I'm starting to think water and feed is the way to get this beast to let his gaurd down. I found tracks this morning, on my windshield. He had to come by late last night. I was waiting up for him till madnight or so with my Natty aiming fluid, but he must of been watching me waiting for me to call it a night. Maybe tomorrow.

Ol swayback! I'm surprised he can even sneak up on the chickens with his belly dragging the ground!
