    Jeff baker

What's everyone think of Jeff baker. Seen he played 3rd the other day. What can't he do avg over 300 why is he not a starter.

because Beltre is there, Baker is a solid bench player, his average is so high because he is not an everyday player but will be someday, 8 taters in less than 70 at bats

He is an outfielder right if so I don't see why Murphy plays over him at this point

that one I can't agrue with murphy is barely hitting his weight, but murph has tenure with the team and the rangers actually lost baker to the rule 5 draft, cleveland picked him up but didnt' put him on the roster so the rangers got him back,if he keeps hitting he will be in there more

you play him too much and he gets overexposed. he is a bench player. nothing wrong with that.

How do we know what he will turn into without him getting a shot to prove himself that's all I am saying

He's 31 years old. He is what he is. It's not like he's 20 or 21 with Profar's potential. He's a solid backup/bench player who would'nt be on the Rangers if he was good enough to be a starter.

yes he is, nice to have that type of player coming off the bench, especially late in the season

He's a lefty smasher, might as well not carry a bat up against a righty.

Murphy just isn't cutting it that's how I feel 216 avg isn't gonna cut it at all
