Most every show I've ever watched has at one time or another made a bad shot and immediately started bragging that they just made a great shot.
I personally think most hunting show are stuck between a rock and a hard spot when it comes to what to show on TV because they have to pay the bills. So do they not televise bad shots and waste a whole week of footage and money, or do they televise the bad shots and then explain they made a bad shot and what to do next. If they do that though they might have the anti's jump all over them for making the animal suffer from a bad shot, or do they simply act like they made a good shot to keep the anti's somewhat away but yet have all the internet hunters condemn them for it. I personally wish they would admit the bad shot and explain the best course of action to inform new hunters the best course of action to take after a bad shot.
I like the show and he is one of the very few that will show how important it is to practice they way you plan on hunting, not just standing in perfect position and shooting a target. I haven't seen the show in this thread but I will as it should be recorded.

After season one of AA, they wanted him to shoot a different brand than diamond. He refused and was replaced by Brooks Johnson. Season 2 flopped. He bought the show back and does it his way. I've messaged with him several times and he's always been cool with me. We are actually working on a deal with me sponsoring some Brute coolers for his show and Arika (the girl that hunts with them) is designing my web page. He is kinda like Uncle Ted, maybe a little over the top for some, but he's alright with me.
Had a change of plans, not going to do a sponsor deal with Chris. Something else has come up and I'm really hopeful and excited about it.
Don't want to say too much yet, but a person I have had several conversations with has been in contact with some producers on making their own show. Right now its still in the talking stage, but could happen soon. Pretty sure it will be on the Outdoor Channel, and the host is an honest, God fearing, hard working, down to earth person.
Actually, I have some business dealings going with her right now
That's all I'm gonna say for now.

Chris shot a Mathews season 1, he changed sponsers to Diamond for season 2 and Brooks Johnson didn't take over until season 3. If you heard any of his interviews back when he parted ways with AA, he never cited a bow sponsor issue as the reason. He flat out said it was a disagreement over show content, not equipment. If he is telling you something different now, that is a little concerning.

Man I think it would be awesome to be on TV and hunt for a living...but yall are a tough crowd!
Need perfect shots...
No ads
No sponsorship
No trade mark sayings, like booyah, smoked him, or crushed him
Not too much talking
No high fences
No corn feeders moved from their original spot and replaced with hand corn
LOL....just a few complaints from the green screen!
I like Eastmans, relentless pursuit is my favorite, and I like watching the crush cause they always have some donk deer and Tiff is easy too look at! I watch the rest too, what else is better on...The Batchelorette???
Give these guys a break...they are on our side!
