Airbrushed one of my Drenalins ....

Just felt like doing something different. I could have had it dipped for $130.00 but wanted the pattern to be unique. If anyone is interested in how to make a durable finish here is how .

    1. Take the bow completely down and sand everything you want to paint with 600 grit sand paper . A must if you don't want finish to chip easily .
    2. I use textured Krylon as base coat because of the rough finish and primers already mixed in .
    3. I cut stencils out of soda can boxes to use for air brushing .
    4. Only use high grade air brush paint for durability .

I realize some people may think I am crazy for painting my bow . I wanted a green camo to go with the mesquite country I hunt in near Uvalde. Now I have one in brown camo and one in green . Good hunting all .......

Looks real sharp man! I bet folks would pay quite a bit for it!

And it blends perfectly, with that area. The key to camo.

That is awesome....going old school! Not many camo their own bows anymore. We did alot of custom camo jobs out of Hillcrest archery in the late 80s and early 90s in Houston. Nice work!

Good looking work. I have a question why do need that sts if it has built in string stoppers

Agreed as well.....but it's a really nice job on the coverup!! Maybe you need to start your own brand of camo.....now there's an idea!
