There is an additive that should be added to prevent cavitation.

My 2002 diesel came with the Gold antifreeze from the factory. I bet yours did also.

The gold is pretty much the same as the green, even though they now have a gold colored "global" antifreeze that mixes with green or dexcool, it's just something ford did for some unknown reason.

Get that stuff flushed asap!
