Thompson temple directions

We're going to Thompson temple from Oklahoma City and need some driving directions. Is it quicker to go down i35 to Austin and cut over or go to San Antonio and over?

go down 35, in austin take 290 west. get on I-10, go south and take a right hwy 41 a few miles up
