Before I fenced my dads garden I put motion detector lights AND sprinklers on his tomatoes and after the first time the deer just ignored it...The first time was pretty funny, though. Little 8 point buck was reaching inside the tomato basket getting new growth when the light came on and he startled...got the basket hung in his rack, jerked the basket up along with the tomato plant, then destroyed half the row of tomatoes fighting it...last time I saw him that night he was running down the middle of the street with the tomato basket stuck on his head and tomato pant streaming in the wind.Comment
