    Old boat ?

Where would you dispose of an old boat? I have a boat I need to get rid of. I only want the trailer.

If your not going to sell it or recycle it (I don't know what material it is made from), I'm pretty sure you can take it to any Landfill or Transfer Station in your area for disposal.

We sunk one once to create some structure in the lake to attract fish. It worked pretty good.

I wouldn't sink one unless it meets all the requirements of being cleaned, remove all fuel and oils. I'm guessing a good sized fine if cought

Yet another tbh assumption. We worked with the fish and game department on the lake. They helped us do it. The point was to establish structure in our cove. We also had conversations and help from the army corps of engineers. But thanks for assuming it was done illegally.

Landfill takes them once all fuel / oil removed. Closed spaces opened up..

Yeah bc he shoulda assumed that fish and game and the army corps helped some guy sink an old boat in a cove instead of some kind of a natural structure?

No. But also, shouldn't have assumed the laws were broken right outta the gate.

The first thing that popped into my mind is you had a body in it also. Sorry for assuming you had just whacked someone and disposed of the body

Haha. It was a long time ago. I was in my teens. My grandpa had a lake house. The cove they had the boat docks in was constantly getting ruffed up when the high Oklahoma winds would kick up. The area had also had lots of new homes built, construction, and residential development.

There was tons of erosion happening and a few other issues in the that area of the lake. The corps shows up and builds two huge rock breaks. The residents wanted to improve the area to attract fish. I don't recall any natural structure that was put in the cove but I do remember the sinking of several strategically placed vessels.
