New Texas made bourbon this evening, Red River

Just had my first sip with a little sprite and I am liking it so far!
Very cool bottle as well.
It looks like I have started a little Texas whiskey collection!

Great Collection! I heard there was a Tennessee company using our red river name on some beer to promote it like it was native texas.

The beer your talking about is Frio beer and it is brewed in Tennessee.

With sprite?
Did you add a lemon twist and umbrella?
Just kidding. That 1835 in your pic is now my go-to bourbon. Cheers!

I haven't tried the Red River but need to get my hands on a bottle. I really like the 1835 though, tasty!

I like the Garrison Brothers. Bought my dad a fifth for his birthday.

Interesting, I thought in order for a whiskey to be called bourbon it had to be made in Kentucky, along with a few other rules. Obviously that isnt true.

The '35 is versatile. OTR or mixed, super smooth...quite the upgrade from my usual, KD.

That yellow rose straight rye whisky is pretty good too. Not alot of Texas Rye's around.
