I'll start this off saying that I have been extremely pleased with the Ripcord rest i bought for the Synergy last August.
The other day (Tuesday 4/15) I took it apart to replace the cord. Simple design and easy enough. When putting the cover back on is when you set the tension of the spring. when i placed the spring on the post i placed it 180 degrees from the position it should have been. by doing this the cover had to make an extra revolution and collapsed the spring.
I got on the Internet and found the Ripcord site. right away i was worried because that's it. a single page. found the contacts/e-mail link and told them exactly what i had done and what did i need to do to obtain a new one.
Within an hour of hitting the send button, Kelsey responded only asking for my address and saying she could have it in the mail "Today".
from Dillon,MT to Magnolia,Tx. it arrived Thursday 4/17. WOW!!!
no questions asked customer service!! and she didn't flinch when i asked for a back-up brass stop-key also. yup! it was in there also!!
wait. i take it back.. she did ask me one question, Right hand or left hand rest??
with all my tinkering and uh oohs, it sure is nice to have a company that will cover my aw sh!!ts like RipCord did.
