    Bragging on my boy

I know everyone is proud of their kids, but I must brag. My son is 10 and I manage his little league team. We are 6-0 so far, and are having a great year-not because I am a great coach, but because the kids have so much talent. Anyway Tues we were up 5-0 in the 5th and time had expired. I brought in my normal closer who is 5'7 and throwing in the mid 60's as a 10yo. He can't find the strike zone and gives up four quick runs, and only one out. It is obvious that he is not going to finish out the game. I insert my son with a one run lead and one out. Mind you we were in the meat of thier order-big sticks. He jams up thier super star forcing an easy first base put out, and then strikes out the next kid to finish the game with a save. I've been blessed with great kids.

Sounds like a good save! Awesome job. Don't have any kids of my own, but I dream of the day I'll have moments like those.
