    Need an elk cape bad!!

Well it's been a rough night. I do taxidermy on the side and finally got a chance to do some work on some of the deer I still have left tonight. I went out to the shop to pull a few capes out of the freezer and notices the light in it didn't come on when I opened the door. It took me about one more second to realize why. I'm guessing with all the storms this past weekend there must have been a power surge that popped the breaker or something. There were about 15 whitetail capes, 2 of my wifes pheasants and an elk cape. Most we're mine and friends but there were a few customers capes that got ruined. The whitetail I can replace this year but Elk are a little tougher to come by. Soooo.... If any of you have or know of anyone who has a good bull elk cape they are willing to part with I'd realllly appreciate it. I'd be willing to buy it off you or if you are needing a nice caribou cape I have one for trade. Thanks.

Yeah luckily so far everyone I've been able to get in touch with has been very understanding. I feel horrible about the whole situation. Not to mention my taxidermy income pays for my hunting expenses.

Taxidermy.net and you will find one fast. Also, get a $15 freezer alarm and protect your customers property.

Couldn't agree more on the freezer alarm. Although it probably wouldn't have helped in this situation being we were on vacation and no one would have heard it. None the less, getting one today.
