Great place but as stated avoid being there between 11-1230 and be ready to see lots of McNeese state booster stuff

Holliers in sulphur is good too. Its on ruth st, take to hwy 27 exit that takes you to hackberry but go north. Its on the left hand side with a big pig by the road. Its nothing fancy but pretty good cookin. And if you want a good burger there is a place on the same road just south of I-10 called norvoskies (spelling). Hackets on hwy 14 has good plate lunchs too. Its off of the 210 loop south of McNeese farms. And it will be on your right hand side.

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat between the river and Lafayette! The BEST gumbo on the planet!
Great service and ANYTHING on the menu is top of the line!

... and it's reasonably priced. The ladies will love it because there's all manner of stuff to buy up front before you go into the dining area. (2thumbsup)
