Polk County -Segno Forest

My FIL and myself purchased a piece of property (134ac.) in the Segno Forest (SE corner Polk County) this year. Does anyone hunt this area, and if so, how is the hunting? Thanks in advance!

I hunt 5 miles from Segno. I have hunted the area over 15 years. A lot of deer in the area depending on how secluded your place is. Congrats on your purchase.

Hunted there for a long time. Never saw any huge bucks but saw a good bit of deer and tons of pigs.

What the hell is the Segno Forest??? I dont live 12-13 miles as the crow flies from there....

Thanks for the replies guys. I am so looking forward to giving it a go this year in the pines. It will definately be different hunting from what I am reading.
