You can't take anything lightly these days, and I'm sure not tellin you to, Leon. But 5 year olds are goofy. I wanted to play with guns all the time when I was 5....huntin is all I thought about. Maybe try to find a disconnect between what god says, and what a 5 year old wants to do. And find a place to take the ol .22s out for some beer can shootin.

Brother, he's 5. I got a safe coming on the way.

Leon my boy is five also. He is also curious about my guns. We talk daily about what they can do and what there for. Lock them up when you can and talk to him often. Prayers that the bad thought leave him.
