Fire Ants

Bifen IT is the best. Had fire ants bad last year. Using Bifen no more fire ants. Got it from local feed store.

Get this, they make Bifen a few minutes down the road from where I live. But the local stores around me charge about double the price of what that web site does. I can order it online with no sales tax, no shipping and pay half price and it comes from a wharehouse in Georgia! I live South East of
Houston, 10 minutes from where they make it.

Treating individual mounds doesn't seem to work in the grand scheme of things. You can walk around and put whatever on the mounds and the next day there will be new mounds in different areas. What I like(d) about the Over N Out was that you could broadcast spread it and in a short time there would be NO ants period in your yard.

How does the Bifen work?

It kills ants beds in less then 10 minutes. I use a water hose sprayer attachment, it has a dial so you can control how hany onces per gallon. I spray the whole yard and the entire outside of my house all at one time.
Then when I'm done I'll go check the back patio and the driveway, and to my delight i'll see a few dead bugs and a few headed for the hills. But little do they know there is no where to run and its to late they have been EXTERMINATED!! HA HA HA HA. I do this about 3 times a year.

That ortho orthlene will kill out the red ants and the cut ant too but have to keep hitting the mounds with it........around stock tanks with fish in them the stuff they put in filters to clean swimming pools the ground up shell that k9trainer said will kill them too and not harm fish.......andy
