any one hunted angelina nf around zavalla just bought a lease around this area.wanted to know how plentyfull or deer and turkeys.

There are a fair number of Turkey south east of Zavalla in the National forest, some areas are better than others. There are some good deer in this region, it all depends on what kind of management your lease has. We are south west of Zavalla and have great deer but poor turkey. In fact, we are not even allowed to hunt the turkey on our lease. Which lease did you get on?
