    Need a smoker

My last one got stolen, so now I'm in the market for a good smoker/grill. I grill at least every weekend, and usually a couple times a week. What's the best one I can get that holds temp, won't fall apart, etc for $500 or less?

I saw some real nice ones just now at the HEB in Kingwood. $350 I think.

I've seen some pretty good lookin ones at HEB, Walmart, academy, etc just didn't know the quality of them. My last pit was custom made by my dad and the one he did BBQ comps with and that what I grew up on. I'm so mad..

Weber Performer Platinum. It's a charcoal grill with a gas ignitiion system. I love mine.

I bought this old country pit at academy and love it. I did my summer sausage this year on it and it turned out great. It was just a little over 500. I have not had and problems with holding even temps at all, for the Money it has been awesome. Click image for larger version

I wish my price window was bigger, but after pay cut after pay cut $500 or so is about as high as I can go
