    My way of prepping

Get'n em used to me and coming to my house. Man I love life here. Grew up on the wrong side of the tracks in Houston and now in paradise. We don't even have mosquitoes.

Did that at a lake NE of SanAntonio feed 8pt buck out of hand. Deer everywhere, tame enough to pet. Everyone seemed to have a feeder but no hunting. It was almost a petting zoo atmosphere.

I'm not too far, over in Bergheim. I did the same thing over the past 10 years. Now regret it. We just agreed to be assessed $300 for the removal of something like 1000 deer over 3 years. Sad, very sad. These deer are runty for a reason. State biologist says almost all of them have acidosis. Worse, it's a problem we helped create with corn feeding.

Nobody has feeders here. But people do do this from time to time. I'm honestly not worried about it. I see a couple killed every week by getting hit by cars. Haven't seen the heard grow since I've been here. But interesting info though that Imma keep in mind! Thanks

No skeeters and you have deer running around? I'm moving to Bulverde!
