hmmm, can they legally beg ?
after the end of the vet visit yesterday for my 3 labs, I was wondering...Can I legally put a bucket around their neck and have them beg for money ? Shots, medicine for the oldest ones hip came to a grand total of $789, and that was with a $180 military discount....

Sometimes, you have to love the small town service!
Last year, the weekend before New Year's, we arrived at the lease with our yellow lab, Sniffer. Our lease manager had thrown out some rat poison not knowing Sniff would be there. You guessed it, she ate a whole chunk of it. It was pretty late, but I called the local vet in Three Rivers and he said to bring her down for a Vitamin K shot. Bobby and I thought we were looking at a very hefty vet bill, especially on an emergency call and a holiday weekend. After he checked her out and gave her the shot and anther for us to take with us, Bobby asked him how much, vet said, $20.00 should cover it!
Bobby added a tip in there and he tried to give it back to us. Heckuva nice guy! Of course, if it had been $2,000, we would have gladly paid it. Can't put a price on a family member's health.

The three days Suzy was in ICU is $1800, and them chemo that killed hers was $1200. and the operation to remove cancer was about $400 more and the first set of chemo was also $1200.00
Suzy bet bill for her last 18 months was about for 4 cancer operations etc $6500.
I wish I had her back

heart and soul my friends, heart and soul.....they may be pains at times, but then again, who or what on this earth isn't ? My pups are my rock at times, and I refuse to think of that dreaded day when they aren't here anymore, a part of me will die with themComment
