    Woo Hoo!

    One more thing. I don't know how common a problem it is, but it was with our shelties. Keep the hair on the bottom of their feet between the toes trimmed close. It helps keep burrs out, but with our dogs, the hair was thick enough to spread the toes, and he ended up walking with the side of his toe in contact with the ground. That resulted in him growing pad between the toes, spreading them out more. He had to get surgery to have it corrected.

      I like Shelties when they are groomed with short hair. Almost looks like a coyote. Haha, they bark at non-familiar people. Alot
