Dad's Lung Cancer

My folks came by yesterday to give me an update on my dad's lung cancer. Although it wasn't very positive he is taking it very well. Basically the cancer has progressed into his right lung, its been in the left lung for 3 years now. From what he said, basically, the cancer has moved from Stage 2 to Stage 4 and is terminal The doctor suggests that he continue with his weekly chemo and radiation treatments since he is reacting well to them.

I'm tryin to stay as positive around him and give them as much support as possible but its hard to see your Superman dwindle away!!!!

I've been in your shoes stay strong for him spend as much time as you can with him go on a fishing trip or something I miss my ol man somethin fierce lost him in 99 prayer sent for you your dad and your family

Prayers up for your dad... Like you mentioned its hard to stay strong at the sight of horrid effects cancer has on a human being let alone one's dad... Prayers for you and the family to stay strong in support of your dad... I went through this with my dad three years back and it sucks... All I can say is spend as much time with him as possible and do the things he likes to do with him... Prayers for everyone afflicted by cancer and all of the families. I lost an uncle to cancer yesterday...

Sorry to hear this? I'm in the same boat with my dad. He started Chemo last week. I will keep your dad in my prayers.
