Snake ID

I'd like to think I can identify most snakes in my part of the world, but this one has thrown me...found on the road dead near Conroe. The only thing I can think of is Mud Snake?

Yup! They got it, its a mud snake. I killed one a few years ago and got the beat down, so be prepared. Its a GOOD Snake!
