    Predator Calls..which ones?

So what is the consensus here?

Fox Pro or Primos or others?

Fox Pro seems kind of pricey. Just wondering, totally new to this side of management.

Every primos I have been around has been crap. I know of atleast 5 that have gone back and 3 after one use do to speakers sounding bad and crackling. Two were alpha dogs. I personally owned a alpha and turbo and both went back and now own a foxpro. That is the only way to go IMHO

We use about 8 FoxPro's between 5 of us and and only 2 have been sent back in 10 yrs of using them. Both had a battery drain when not in use. One also had a bad speaker, my FX3, and it was 6 yrs old then but still under warranty at the time.
I know of other guys in north west Texas that prefer another rand but I can't remember the name. I think Wildlife Technologies but don't quote me. They are also about $600-750 but they got rid of FoxPro's for these.

Friend of mine brought his Flextone over to my lease. Best realistic sounds I've heard yet. Hasn't had long enough to speak to other aspects.

Thanks for all the rapid responses....the FoxPro is just big bucks...so that is why I was asking...seems it must be effective. I just hate to drop coin like that.

I'm a big time predator hunter , and hit up alot of tournaments and I have used alot of different electronic calls , Gerald Stewart , Johnny Stewart son is a friend of mine and I've used some of his Johnny Stewart game calls and to be honest the fox pros have the most realistic sounds , if your serious about getting a foxpro your gonna spend at least 400 to 500 on a good one . If you just wanna go out and have fun getcha a foxpro Firestorm , there about 200 dollar . They have 30 something calls and work great. pm me of you have any other questions bud ill give you much advice as you need

I just got a foxpro spitfire used for 140.00. It is the model that was replaced by the firestorm. I haven't had a chance to use it down south yet, but for the amount of time I will be calling, it is perfect for me.

FoxPro ALL THE WAY! I hope Primos doesn't see this post but FoxPro makes a far superior product for e-calling. I would go top of the line - either the FuryII or the Shockwave. Yes, they're expensive; but, with e-callers, you get what you pay for. It's an investment and the price belies the quality. Either of those calls will make you more effective, particularly because of the quality of the sound. Nothing beats a mouth call but the Fury and the Shockwave are as close as you can get with a speaker.
