I am on a Balcones kick right now, but Garrison was my go to for awhile. -

It's not bad but for such a young product they sure are proud of the stuff. Since you got it as a gift you avoided this part.
For the same price or cheaper one can get a much higher quality Kentucky Bourbon IMHO.
