Looking/Wanting/Needing a New Job Career! Long Read!

I've been told my resume only targets the hunting/outdoors industry... so I either need help to revise my resume are need to stay in the outdoor industry.

I have more-less been stuck with one company for the last 18 years. So I think I have a good job history in holding a job and sticking with one company. I hate the thought of jumping from job to job

I would like something in the Sales/Marketing, Customer Service, Strategy-Planning, Quality Control, Consultant, ect...

I've been told that I could sell Ocean Front Property in Arizona

Here is a copy of my resume maybe someone can point me in the right direction with a career or help me revise it so it will get an employer's attention.

I know it needs help, It's the first one I have ever made. I have not needed a new job since high school now 18 yrs later I have no real world work skills because I've been stuck in this "one horse town"

A buddy of mine, got me an interview with Samsung's Semiconductor in Austin. They had my resume and knew I didn't have any experience before the interview... I thought the interview whet well, but I'm still waiting on them to call but it's been almost two months. Why would they interview someone without any experience if they were looking for someone with experience????

I know the dates overlap, only because I've worked more than one job at a time to make ends meet.

Thanks in advance for reading and hopefully helping me out.

It's hard to produce a one-size-fits-all resume if you are seeking employment in multiple fields. I have created a couple different versions of my resume. Each version should align your background and skills to what is called for in the position description.

I agree with Sika... you need to tailor your resume specifically for each type of position, if not each individual position. I would also recommend that you reach out to a professional resumist for help. They are well worth the $200-$300 (or whatever their fee), especially if you have been with one company for a long time. They will help you pinpoint and verbalize strengths you have gained in your held positions.

BTW... as one who handles specific interviews for a very large company, you may have been interviewed without any experience to meet EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) regulations/numbers.
