I used to get the CON AIR kind from Walmart for around $20 but they never lasted but about a year. My wife uses the trimmers when cutting my hair too so we use them quite often. She finally got some Andis brand clippers from some hair supply store, Sally's I think. They've proven to be pretty decent. We've had them over a year and can't tell any difference from when we first bought them. They were around $40 I think.

I used a wahl peanut. Before I stopped trimming. I used it for years and never needed to replace the blade. About $35

Let it grow, but if you have to trim it. Wahl is what I use after hunting season, and it works very well.

What ever you get DON't get a battery powered one! They don't last. Get one you can plug in the wall.

Wahl lithium ion going strong after 2 years. Previously had a wahl lead acid that only lasted 2 years
