good old fashion way get to pullin them weeds out, crab grass is tough, dandilions also have some really deep roots. I went ot my local garden store i picked up some weed killer they use pretty exspensive but it really works.

I am no expert but had something kill large spots (including the roots) in my front yard and neighbors yard. We were told it was probably Cinch bugs. Went out and got some Pesticide granules that listed the Cinch bug and spread it in yard. I then raked the dead grass down to the dirt and spread some Scotts feed and seed (Bermuda). I cant tell from photos if this is the problem so I may be way off here. It's been known to happen.....Good Luck!

Yep, but make sure you don't use a weed and feed designed for St. Augustine(Scotts Bonus S). Looks like you have some Bermuda(spelling) and I've been told the Bonus S will kill it.

Nothing wrong with your yard. That's a suburban "farm" & you are growing dandilions for yuppie "green" salads!

Put a bag of Ironite on it. Get rid of the crabgrass and put grub worm poison down

Fire up the sprayer and kill everything and start over with new sod if it is in your budget.

OK If you dont want to start over take the advice given above but also top dress with 1/2 inch or so of compost or dillo dirt.
