This will be my second year on the lease. We are North on 680 from Goodlet right on the Red River. Anyone hunt close? We had a lot of good 3.5 year old bucks last season

Yep, real close. North on 680 about 3 miles south of the river. Left hand side before the asphalt ends.

We are right on Richie road then North to the river.

You probably have some pretty rough country over there. I love how the terrain changes as you get closer to the river. Our place is pretty flat with a few rolling hills. We've had the place for about 8 years now and have seen some pretty nice deer. There are some monsters up there but they like to stay in the cover.

We are Southwest of town about 6 miles ...Last Year was a Bad yr for us the horn growth was just not there and the Doves were not to be found

Yep what Joe said...Hunt during the off times like during the week..They were all busted up last yr cause the of the lack of water...

I love that area. The lease I was on was a few miles west of you guys. I had a place that sold a year ago. I miss it up there. Very cool area to hunt, it held a lot more bucks that than I would have imagined

We're about 14 miles SE as the crow flies. Have had pretty good times there so far. Although... Here recently our cabin got broken into and the thieves made off with about $2k worth of binos, rangefinders and knives. Also, they nailed a cam off one of our feeders.
