I saw him in Stillwater, OK at the original Wormy Dog (up the stairs) in 2001 the night before we played OSU. The place was jumping and every person in there (except us) was singing every word to his songs. I have been a fan since that night.

I've been a fan for a long time. I think his voice even got better after his surgery on his vocal chords. "Somewhere down in Texas" is my favorite of his older stuff and I really like "Comal county blues".
