Anyone had problems with spin cast feeder motors

Mine crapped out got in touch with them had to buy another one so I can install it then send off the broken one with receipt and they will replace the broken one so I'm one feeder down have to pay for shipping on the one I bought and to send the crap one back and the extra one I'm going to wind up with when they send the replacement

I have a spin tech that I put on six years ago. Still going on the same battery. Most reliable timer IMHO. But now I build my own and they are better. Haha

I used them without any problem for about 8 years then I did have a problem,I contacted them and they asked me to send mine to them which was a pain since feeder was full, (no more warranty) but I did and they sent me a complete set up at no charge so I was ok with the ordeal.
almost 10 yrs ago and the new one still kickin"

I have 3 units that are over 20 years old and they still work the same as the day I bought them.

That is all we run, no major problems with ours. There is a reset button that will allow you to reset the program if it ever locks up. We also get 2-3 years out of our batteries, running them year round. Great feeders!

If you have an "old" spin-cast that works, you're in luck. The old ones that were manufactured here state-side, they were very good units. I'm still running about a dozen of them. They have started the old "Chinese is cheaper" thing, and the new ones are junk... motors burn out, circuit boards, clocks, you name it... Will not buy on now. If any of the old ones take a dump, they will be replaced with something else... bunch of buddies bought them because some of us had been running them for so long without doing anything to them but changing batteries from time to time... another prime example of "all good things must come to an end"...

                            Depends on which you buy.

We have had ours for 12+ years, and besides hogs knocking them over, we haven't had any problems with the 6 or so we have in use.
