So wasn't the use of a feeder kinda like cheating?

I love it when a plan comes together!

From zero to hero, no doubt.

That said, would have, could have, should have put him on some protein and let him go till next season.

Glad you didn't name him Mr. Bo Jangles.

Absolutely not! I do not condone high fenced hunting! This was strictly sneaking into his bedding/ feeding area. Stuart was free to come and go as he pleased!

When you have a 0-2 count, you gotta choke up and put the ball in play!

                .
The knowledge that I WON'T be here over another week made the descision for him, he had to go.

If his name were Mr. Bo Jangles, there would be no question that this would have been a HF hunt 100% fairr chase on this hunt!

I was chuckling at the story then spit my drink when I scrolled down to this. Nicely played.

Few things get me as wound up as a dumb animal outsmarting me multiple times. Every now and then squirrels get in the attic at the office, they chew up my phone lines, then the alarm wiring causing it to go off in the middle of the night, which gets me a phone call at 2am. Can't find their entry point to save my sanity.
So when I hear lil feet running across the ceiling I borrow an AR15 Airsoft rifle and 2 mags of ammo, rubber band a small flashlight to the barrel and climb into attic. Can't tell you how much fun a full auto airsoft is on squirrels.

We should team up and start a joint outfitting business
