    So there I was...

Monday I was having a severe headache that I frequently get due to a head injury I received In Iraq.
Not thinking to much about it I just rested and hoped it would go away.
By Tuesday I had lost all taste and tongue was numb, head still killing me. Still thought that it would just go away.
By Wednesday, numbness had overcome my right ear, right eye and had moved down to the corner of my mouth.
Wife was kind of panicked as she is my certified VA caregiver and I knew she knew I hated hospitals, but to make her feel better I volunteered to go worried I may be stroking out as this can be an issue withTBI patients.
After tests Wed. evening and most of they day Thurs. I am lucky. I am just having some complications from TBI headaches causing Bells Palsy.
It was a bit of a scary thing for me as I am not ready to go with my 2 daughters and 1 unknown on the way.
So, in closing. Take care of yourselves and tell your loved ones you love them as often as you can.
Take care everyone and God bless ya'all !

Good to hear Bell's. I'm sure your wife and doc have already told you most patients recover completely.

Having been there, and being one of the lucky ones, I can say two things about it:

It's not fun while being experienced first hand.

But sometimes it reveals or seems to cure other problems. In my case, it evened up my jaws so that I no longer had a need to "pop" them, nor to grind my teeth.

                  Best of luck to you.

It was definitely scary for a while. Thought for sure I was having a stroke.
Eating and drinking is hard to get used to and forcing my eye closed so it doesn't dry out to much takes some getting used to.
Again I thank you all for your prayers.
