    Dog boarding in Waco?? Suggestions?

I need to find a reasonably priced, but decent, place to board a dog for a few days in Waco. Anyone know a place?

My daughter is in school up there (McLennan) and she needs a place to leave her lapdog (uhg!!) for the weekend so she can come fishing with me this weekend. The hotel doesn't allow pets.

    Any suggestions??

John Wyble is in Salado and boards dogs.....

I can't remember his username on here -- give me a minute.

I left him a message. But that's an hour from Waco.

I'd like to find some place for her that's actually IN Waco because I'm hoping to fish late on Sunday. Which means she wouldn't be back up to Wavo until late. I'd rather she doesn't have to drive an hour on Monday morning to go get it.

Check with all the Vet clinics. They may board dogs or know who does.

Quail creek training and boarding is down the street from my house. Never used them but looks like a nice place.

Quail creek is a nice place and not very expensive but it's in Robinson. I left my heeler there when I went to Oklahoma gambling about a month ago. She had her own kennel which was indoor/outdoor and got walked daily. Only $20 a day.

Not sure why my brain initially scrambled on this one, but when I read the title, "Dog boarding...," my mind conjured an image of somebody being tormented by someone else who was dropping small dogs on their face while asking them urgently pressing questions. My confusion was immediate and complete.

This all happened in a fraction of a second, and then I stared at the title and the fog lifted. But clearly my mind is not right .

I've boarded mine at Texas Animal Med Ctr - great place, been there a long time, good people and always took great care of my dog.

May try Eastside Animal hospital, not sure if they do boarding but I know the vet Ken Keil and he is a good guy.
