    2014 Masters Ticket Application

The ticket application for the 2014 Masters started today. We are planning to be there and it will really help out if we get drawn for the tickets instead of having to buy them on the secondary market. If anybody wants to apply and not make the trip, I will gladly take the tickets off our hands.

It just depends. Practice rounds can go from $300+ and actual rounds can go $750+. This year the final four was in Atlanta so a lot of those people stayed over and did the Masters a well. If Tiger is the favorite that shoots up ticket prices as well. We are budgeting a $1000 per person for tickets and plan on going to just one or two days.

Heath - Let me know if you need my ticket brokers contact info. He's a local guy based in Augusta. Most of the dealers are from out of town so its nice to have someone local.

Also, you better start looking at where you are going to stay soon. Hotels are hard to come by. Don't book anything in the South part of Augusta....trust me!

Most chain hotels max out their rates so plan on $500-700/night. You might want to look at Columbia SC. You can also fly in direct (1 hour drive vs. 2 1/2 from Atlanta) and you can probably get a hotel.

                    Good luck!

I got them the first year they ran the lottery - never since. Everyone I've spoken to that's got them once didn't receive them again. Still trying though.

You used to have to print out a form (practice rounds only) and send it in. It's a little easier now with computer entry so I would imagine there are a ton more entries than when I last did it back in '06/07.

I applied. I'll let you know if I am drawn. To me watching pasture pool is ALMOST as boring as watching NASCAR.
