      Aweful situation. Prayers up. Cant fathom a dad abandoning his daughter. I too think he needs to have his feet held to the fire.

        As of right now she knows nothing of what's goin on. She just knows she cannt see him.

          Bless you, your wife and the daughter!..prayers up!...try to explain that her dad loves her, but he understands and knows you and her MOM love her the most..tuff all around, and it doesn't mean he wont ever come by and say hi...life is fast..7 is tuff.....again...prayers up.....stand strong...

          send a pm to txjourneyman....he's be going thru this...his insight could help more than we can...

            So much to say about this, but not thing is good and not one that will your situation. While I fell sorry for this little girl, it seems she is where she belongs and will be fine. Praying for her, you and your wife.

              Bad as the situation is, in the long run, having somebody with those values around your daughter would be decidedly worse. Prayers sent.

                    Contact some of the local child advocacy groups and see if they have any pro bono lawyers that can help you out. Best of luck to you.
