    American Hoggers in South TX

I was at hotel today to check a roof for storm damage and noticed two trucks with hog dog cages in the back. Not to unusual, but upon closer look one of them said American Hoggers and listed a bunch of work they do. I have never seen the show but seen commercials and read about it here from time to time. We had some time to kill waiting on a bucket truck so I googled the show and saw pics of the cast. A few minutes later a guy walks out with a pair of snake boots in his hand and gets in an old nissan single cab pickup. I look down at my phone and see that it is one of the guys from the show. The adjuster tells me he is the brother. After a little more time a girl with short hair and glasses comes out and takes the truck around to the front door and out hobbles an old man with a burly beard. The adjuster confirms its the old guy from the show. He said he did not know who the girl was and commented that she didnt look like she was going to be messing with any hogs in her get-up. She looked like her jeans and top were painted on Not sure what they were doing in the area. There were no dogs in the boxes

Cool...if you want to see them..just visit the Diamond R Cafe in Zephyr Texas on Sat mornings...they frequent the joint as they live near by. We see them all the time. One of the first episodes of show was filmed at Pecan Peak Ranch just a few miles south. They bought a few dogs from Sean. (Show called "Junk Yard Hog"

I sold Robert a bunch of feeders several years back when he worked for the O'Connor Ranches. Nice guy who took me (and my son once) hunting down there several times. Not sure about the others, but he knows how to hunt. That being said, the show is way over the top for me. Watched one episode.

The "work that they do" as printed on that sign. Pure BS.
