he got a day off Saturday. a mental day his manager said.

compounding his problem is the Angels' overall poor performance. if they were going great then it'd be easier to overlook it. instead they are sinking fast (when they were supposed to win the division) and everyone is looking for him to lead the charge.

yup, they could send him down. kinda unthinkable but they could.

wouldn't be surprised to discover an "injury" so they could put him on the DL for a while so he could figure it out.

remember last year when he complained about too many Red Bulls affecting his eyes? this has been a problem for a while now ... and he knows it.

have you watched any major league baseball recently?!

for example, there is this team to the south of the Metroplex...

Gotta admit, while it may be childish of me, it has been fun looking up his stats and following his 2013 spiral.

I'm confident he turns it around (on some level) but slowing down to view the wreckage has been fun.

            Shame on me.

No kidding. Tampa Bay and Miami are horrible.

I doubt he'll hit close to .200 on the season but I'd sure like to see it! With every K, he keeps adding to Jon Daniels' impressive resume as a GM. I'm just glad to be rid of all the excuses that he brings with him. Call a spade a spade, You suck right now Josh! Own it!

^^^^This^^^^ Josh will probably bounce back at some point. God will fix his swing or tell him to start dipping during day games but he'll come out of this. There's entirely too much talent there and too much money invested in him for it not to happen.

He wont go to the minors but I dont think he will be as good as he was the last few years. He is not young for a baseball player anymore.

It's fun to watch. But mark my words...before the season is over he will get a hit to beat the Rangers.....and it will make us all insane.

My boy Mitch is swattin it pretty good lately!

so how long would it take before they say its enough and downgrade him to the minors?

Josh Hamilton had entirely too much talent to not come back around. Everyone has slumps in baseball. It going to happen. I'm confident that he will come back and be the josh Hamilton that we knew from the rangers.

I heard on the radio this morning that if strikeouts were hits, Josh would be batting .308.
