    2nd One this year!!!

Found this guy by my horses water trough. Caught him to turn him in for antivenin usage but turns out they weren't taking copperheads at the time so I had to kill it. Is anyone else having problems with snakes?

I was last week before the last front. But it was just a king and a rat snake.

Yeah I'm more worried about one getting my grandparents than my horses. Usually when a horse gets bit it just swells around the area until it reaches the bite and then goes away.

The old folks called them PILOT snakes because one was usually piloting another... When you find one copperhead look around for the second.

Yeah we looked all around but didn't find another.

Had one about two inches from hand last year, curled and ready to strike. It was a tiny thing, but enough to hurt me I'm sure. He didn't make it.

I killed one about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully that was my one for the year.

I haven't been in the woods since January but will be at the ranch this weekend. I hope to see a couple of rattlers or Texas Indigos!
