I am so going down there to see stuff getting launched into space.

Went to the Cape one year to see a shuttle launch (running buddy's mom worked at Patrick AFB and got us tix) but weather scrubbed the launch. I really want to see one of those Falcon 9 Heavies light off.

They hve been talking about it on the radio down here. One of the concerns was that Boca Chica beach would be closed for 24 hours around any launch. So the local government is asking that launches be during the week so as not to impact beach going high traffic times. They have said that they would allow weekend launches if they got pushed back do to acts of God (weather). I know that one of the universities down here is involved. I'm sure that the local politicians will find a way to screw it up. Everyone needs to get their peice of the pie you know.
